·
‘I am unable to open my mouth fully”
·
‘I have severe pain over my ears, in the back of
my teeth”
·
‘My teeth have become crowded recently”
That is when we suspect the involvement of a submerged
wisdom teeth that is trying to break through. Wisdom teeth are the final molars
to emerge between 17 and 25 years of age. Sometimes they get trapped beneath
the gum line.
Procedure:
First we’ll determine the position of the tooth using full
mouth Xray and plan accordingly. It involves numbing the area with a local
anaesthetic ensuring a painless experience to the patient. It takes a minimum of one hour to complete
the procedure. Our specialist surgeon will carefully remove the necessary hard
tissues to expose the tooth and use appropriate instruments to remove the
concerned tooth.
